Why Fractional

Hire a Chief AI Officer without hiring a CAIO.

Most founders need senior AI leadership — but the role doesn't exist on your org chart yet, and the talent costs $200K–$400K a year. This is the bridge.

Strategic Before Technical

We don't just maintain the agents. We look at the whole business and decide what AI should automate next — and what NOT to automate.

Always-On Optimization

Agents, prompts, drips, and integrations get tuned every week. A/B subject lines, agent reasoning, cadence — improved while you sleep.

Build Credits Included

Every month includes real development hours. New agents. New integrations. New features. No "we'll quote it later" surprises.

Built for the AI Era

Claude, OpenAI, MCP, multi-agent orchestration, vector DBs, custom edge functions. Modern stack from day one. We use what we recommend.

Common Questions

The honest answers before you ask.

Is this for me if I'm not running AI in my business yet?+
Probably not yet. The Fractional AI Officer assumes you have systems to optimize. If you're starting from scratch, do a Blueprint Call first to map what to build, then a Night Build to ship the foundation. Once that's live, we layer the FAO retainer on top.
What if we don't use all our build credits one month?+
Unused hours roll over up to 1.5× your monthly allotment, so you can save them for a sprint. Beyond that they expire — but in practice almost every client uses everything every month.
How is this different from hiring you for a Night Build?+
Night Build is a one-time project. The FAO retainer is ongoing leadership + capacity. You'd want the FAO when you have systems live and need them maintained, optimized, and expanded continuously — not just shipped.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. 30-day notice. No long-term contract. You own all code, all data, all agents — even after you cancel. We hand off everything.
Do you sign NDAs?+
Yes. Mutual NDA available. We handle financial models to private client data with appropriate care.
Can you work with my existing dev team?+
Yes. The FAO is often the strategic layer that bridges your existing team + AI capability. We mentor your devs, document our architecture, and split work as makes sense.
How quickly can we start?+
Same week. Click Start, complete a brief onboarding form, and we'll schedule your first strategy call within 3 business days. First build credits start the same week.
